I suppose I haven’t ranted about our Governor much..and partly because rather than rant..I have questions and irritations that will probably forever go unanswered. Here’s a sampling:

I don’t get why his wife (or how) can stand by his side.. and is it that she screamed at him earlier–and got it all out? Or is she on some medication that makes her appear that all is ok with the world?

I suppose when I first read it, I was surprised. Then after about five minutes I thought “No..not surprised.” because many people in power seem to also thrive on some sort of “high” that takes them places the rest of us might never go.

The “call girl” is pretty. And maybe for 5,000 dollars a pop she doesn’t have to do it that much..or maybe she does? But now she’s all famous and stuff..and it seems kind of weird that he pays her for sex and loses his job and credibility. She gets paid for sex and she’s now getting magazine offers and people listening to her music online.

And why do people in power think they can do these things and not get caught? When everybody knows your face and name, how do you imagine that someone won’t use it against you someday?

Did she really NOT know he was the Governor of NY?

How many pretty girls who sing, (or don’t) are out there, that now see if they maybe sleep with someone rich and famous–they too can become famous overnight?
My question: has every governor in NY had at least one affair? Geez! And then there is the story of the ex-NJ gov having three-way sex with his wife and an aide…I’m always amazed that these guys think no one will find out about it.

the difference in my opinion-he was elected-she was not voted in by the people of NYC. She is not and was not running the state-and while I don’t condone her “job” she was doing what she is paid to do. I don’t believe he is getting paid to hire a “call girl”.
I hate the word prostitute because some people use these services for reasons other then sex-and no sex is involved.

Disgusting isn’t it?
All politicians aren’t like this, I know some really good family guys.
But a few like this make them all look bad.
Those that preach the loudest are usually the ones to keep an eye on.
We have a few sleazes in Minnesota too.
I expect someday to read about our Republican Senator Norm
Coleman, He and his wife have the strangest relationship.
I know woman he has hit on, but if anything else has gone on at this point he is very good at covering it up.
I guess time will tell.

I asked a lot of the same questions when it happened…one that nobody seems to be able to answer is how do you become a $5500 per hour hooker? Is there a minor league and major league hooking organization? Does a street pimp see “potential” in one of his ladies and call up the big club with a recommendation? Does he get a cut if she goes “To the Show”?
So many questions, so few answers.
As far as the wife, I think you already humiliated her once, how can you do it to her again by dragging her in front of the camera’s? Weak.
