• Having a selectively mute five year old start pointing and nodding to me during a reading game..that’s better than blank stares.
• Yesterday when the temperature was 48. Yes 48. DELIGHTFUL after a long winter of bitter Antarctica-like air.
• Hearing my grandfather talk about his first car and how it cost 4 dollars and he shared it with a friend. His second car was 100 and five girls could fit into that car
• Two pots of mini daffodils that I got (money goes to cancer society) and they are blooming and helping me get through this last part of March, while the snow is still out there waiting to melt.
• Hearing my son say he “Keeps a low profile” at school and doesn’t get into trouble.
• knowing i get a four day weekend- next weekend..
• and easter is coming. Ahhh peeps. Lime green peeps and getting to make an easter basket for my son who knows the Easter bunny is me.
• Seeing Chikeezee perform on Idol this past week..he’s not even been one of my faves but his performance was awesome.
• Right now. Drinking a hazelnut coffee knowing I don’t have to rush anywhere..and can just smooch the top of my cairn terrier’s head and scratch his chin.
